Ritesh Agarwal, the founder of OYO ROOMS , a teenage boy with over $5 billion worth company. The simple idea of providing travellers coolest yet cheapest budget hotels, made him fortune.

Ritesh was born in Orissa, Bissam Cuttack to a business class family. He completed his school from Rayagada Orissa only from Sacred Heart School. During his school time, he works in an unconventional manner as compared to others. He was always looking out for opportunities that will make him make mistakes and then learn from them. This ignites his love for software and this started the journey of Ritesh Agarwal to CEO Ritesh Agarwal.

His ways of learning things during his childhood days used to be way different than other kids of his age. During his childhood days itself he gained a keen interest in the softwares. His hunger to know more was unrelenting so in order to know more he borrowed his elder brother’s book for programming. Languages like Basic and Pascal he was taught at the school itself rest he managed to learn from the Google. To your surprise this boy started coding at the age of eight. By the time he reached tenth grade he was soo obsessed he made his mind and took coding for eleventh.

In 2011 he moved to delhi. He also prepared for the SAT meanwhile but somehow it never happened. Afterwards he spent his most of the time reading and gaining insights about entrepreneurs, startups, businesses etc. Thus, he got an opportunity to start his own startup which gave him a chance to prove his capabilities. OYO ROOMS is one of the most lucrative startups with about 360 crore turnout every year.
